37th Graduation Ceremony Notification

  • The Kenya Water Institute is pleased to inform all graduands, students, staff, parents, and the general public that the 37th Annual Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, 28th November 2025 at the Main Campus, along Ole Shapara Avenue, South C, Nairobi from 9.00 a.m.
  • This is to therefore inform all students that the provisional graduation list is now available in the institute website.

Confirmation of The Graduation Status - Provisional 37th Graduation List

  • Prospective graduands should check their inclusin in the graduation list on the KEWI website.
  • Further, the candidates are expected to confirm the accuracy and order of their names with the Registrar-Examinations in their respective campuses and ensure they meet all other requirements including the clearance of fees.

NOTE

  • This is a provisional list.
  • It will be updated continously on the need basis.

 

 

Graduation Fees

  • Graduands must pay a graduation fee of Four Thousand Kenyan Shillings (Kshs 4,000) by 21st November 2025.
  • All payments should be made via the Students Portal using the e-citizen platform.
  • The payment slip should be presented to the Accounts Department for issuance of official receipt on or before Monday 24th November 2025.
  • Graduands must provide evidence of payment of the  graduation fee before collecting the graduation gowns.

 

 

Graduation Gowns

Gowns Issuance

  • The graduation gowns will be issued at the Office of the Registrar, Students Welfare in the MAIN Campus strictly on Monday, 24th November 2025 upon payment of the full graduation fees and filling out the relevant forms.

Gowns Return

  • All graduands are expected to return the graduation gowns to the Office of the Registrar, Students Welfare in the MAIN Campus by Thursday, 11th December 2025 after which a fine of Kshs 1000 per day will be levied for any gown returned after the deadline.

 

 

Rehearsal

  • Graduands will be required to attend the rehearsals on Thursday, 27th November 2025 at 2.00 p.m.
  • The graduands should also be seated by 1.45p.m in full graduation attire.

Procession

  • All graduands will enter the Graduation Square in a procession at 8.00 a.m.

 

 

Collection of Certificates

  • The date and order of collection of certificates will be announced on the KEWI website.
  • A fee will be charged for certificates stored beyond the stipulated collection period as per the examination policy.
