Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Sanitation and Waste Management is a forward-looking degree designed to build capacity and produce qualified and competent graduates capable of addressing the sanitation and waste management needs via innovative solutions in diverse settings
 
Offered through a strategic partnership between the Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) and Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST), the programme combines academic excellence with hands-on industry training
Venue and Mode of Study
KEWI Main Campus, South C Nairobi
• Blended learning
Combination of in-person and online classes, with sessions held on evenings and weekends to provide flexibility for working professionals and distance learners.
Duration of Study and Structure
• 2 Years (organized in 3 trimesters per year)
This system allows flexible distribution of units while balancing workload. Some units may spill over into subsequent trimesters to ensure students complete all requirements in a manageable and structured way
Minimum Entry Requirements
KEWI Diploma (Credit Transfer Will be Considered) OR
KCSE Mean Grade: C+ (Plus) or Equivalent OR
Relevant Higher National Diploma
