STUDENTS’ INNOVATIONS

KEWI Kisumu offers Competency based education curriculum. Innovation is an integral part of the institute. With the technical support of their lecturers and in such units like Environmental literacy students have innovated various products as options for management of wastes. This is in a bid to protect surface water sources from pollution and protect both terrestrial and aquatic organisms. The innovations are also geared towards protection of forests, land and wildlife resources. Among the projects that students have innovated include, plastic cabros, natural pesticides, manila made flower bouquets, plastic made cob web removers, plastic made flower vases, charcoal briquettes among many others
